Hello Willagillespie Families,
The school year is well underway, our kindergarteners are settled into their permanent classrooms, first through fifth graders are busy re-learning class and playground rules, and we are getting ready for all of the fun fall things coming up!
Some of our highlights are the Fun Run, Run Club, school picture day and Spooktacular! (Check the calendar below for all of those dates).
But remember, in order to participate in all of the exciting memory-making activities here at school, kids need to show up! Our goal throughout the district this year is for a 90% attendance rate for all students...and we know this is something we can do with help and support from families!
We love your kids, we miss them when they're not here, and we want to make sure that they get to take part in not only the important educational work that we do at school, but also those fun times that form core memories and connections for kids.
So here's to a fun and successful year where all of our students are here, on time, and ready to learn!
