Good Morning,

We are already preparing for the 26/27 school year,  and I need a bit of help from all of our parents.  I've sent out a few newsletters with an Intent To Return Survey that needs to be completed by each Willagillespie family.  I've received responses from just under half of our families, and am now reaching out to folks who have not had the opportunity to respond.  I would like to give you a little background about how we use the information on this survey, and why it is so important.

We are in the process of building class lists for next year.  This is a complicated process, and a lot of data is used to make sure that classrooms are well balanced to serve our students needs.  Knowing which students will be returning to us is a great help in building classes.

We also rely on Intent to Return data to know where to allocate staffing for the upcoming year. This goes beyond actual classroom teachers, and wraps in our support staff who are crucial to the every day operation of our building.

We truly do need to hear from every family about plans for next year.  The survey is super quick, and is easily completed from a cell phone, iPad or laptop (but if you run into problems, just reach out to me at 541-790-7100, I'm happy to help!)  

And on a personal note, I am super appreciative of everyone who completes this on their own; I check off the name of each student that I have a response for, and then my job is to call each family who has not responded.  If I need to call over half the school, that's a pretty heavy lift.
