The fundamental purpose of the Willagillespie PTO is to provide opportunities to our students that could not otherwise be afforded due to continued budgetary constraints. Through our fund raising efforts we provide critical support to our teachers for the betterment of all of Willagillespie’s students. We are very fortunate to have such a fine group of teachers and staff. It is critical that you as parents remember that the rewards are greatest when you are actively involved in your child’s education. The PTO needs your support. We encourage parents to participate when and wherever they can. By volunteering in your child’s classroom or volunteering with the PTO (or maybe both) you are helping to make your school successful and enriching your child’s educational experience.

The 4th annual PTO dinner and silent auction/raffle, in conjunction with Math and Science Night is set for Friday, May 5th, and we need your help! We are seeking donations for this fun event. Are any of you business owners that could donate a service? Are you willing to part with a couple of Duck tickets? An artist that could give a lesson? Would you like to volunteer for the event? If you do have goods or services that you are willing to donate, please click here for a donation letter, or drop by the school office and we will give you a copy!
After Spring Break, each classroom will be receiving their assigned basket theme for the silent auction/raffle. Stay tuned!
